Our Mission Statement
We affirm the challenges and confusions that stem from being a young gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and other same-sex attracted person, as well as the difficulties that can be experienced by parents, relatives, and friends of these unique and special individuals. We strive to empower our listeners to embrace their sexuality and live happy and healthy lives, and their friends and families to embrace and properly love these people. We provide a safe-space for sharing stories of conquering these challenges resulting from accepting one’s sexuality, as well as the experiences of coming out to one’s friends and families.
Our Purpose
The purpose of this podcast is to discuss a variety of topics around sexuality and gender identity, and to provide stories that are relatable and understandable for members of the LGBT community. We provide access to real-life stories of how people from many different backgrounds have learned how to ascertain what their ‘real’ sexuality is, learned how to accept their sexuality, gained the tools to come out to their family and friends, and come to live a happy, fulfilled, and safe lifestyle free of judgment and unhealthy practices.
